I pride myself as being a simple man that was raised by a simple family and taught great Christian values in my upbringing. I was raised on a farm in southeast Madison County. I still own the family farm today. It has been in my family since 1909. I am a husband to my beautiful wife Becky and we have four amazing children.
I believe in serving my community in multiple ways.
I surrendered to God’s call of ministry on my life years ago and currently serve as Student Pastor at Cove Baptist Church. I also hold a Board of Directors position for our local Telephone Cooperative and have served on the Board of Executive Directors for a local non-profit. I believe in being involved and serving where you live. I have partnered with multiple non-profit organizations including recently partnering with the “Next Generation Away” Ministry to serve approximately 21,000 pounds of food out freely to local families in a struggle.

My heart is to do what God has called me to do and do it to the best of my ability. God blesses us all with talents and I believe we are called to serve God and others with those talents.
